GLIA has partnered with GoodSearch (http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/), a search engine powered by Yahoo with a unique social mission. When you use GoodSearch to search online or GoodShop to shop online, a percentage of advertising and merchandising sales is donated to GLIA. Individually, it doesn’t amount to much, but collectively and over time it can add up to a significant amount of money. It’s free, it’s easy, and we will certainly use the money to help accomplish our stated mission of carrying out The Great Commission. We kindly ask you to do this for us.
It is simple – and we make it even simpler by providing detailed instructions on how to set up and use both GoodSearch and GoodShop; it takes just a few minutes of your time for a one-time setup.
Here's how it works...
1. You download the toolbar at http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/
2. You search the web directly from the built-in search box which is powered by Yahoo! Each search generates a donation (about a penny per search) for Global Love In Action and you get the same great search results you get with the Yahoo! Search Engine.
3. Shop online as you normally would at any of over 1,300+ participating stores including Gap, PetSmart, Dell, and Staples. When you're at the store's website, the GoodShop toolbar will automatically light up displaying the percentage donated and any available coupons. With the toolbar that you install by following our .pdf instructions, your purchases will generate donations to Global Love In Action even if you forget to start your shopping at GoodShop and just go directly to your merchant (if you have completed the easy one-time setup by following our provided GoodSearch Toolbar Download Instructions).
