Global Love In Action, Inc. ("GLIA" on some of our website pages) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization working in Ecuador (initially) to evangelize indigenous people groups in the area known as the Amazon Rain Forest Basin. You can see a map which shows our primary base of operations. The primary tool we use for our work is relationship building. We partner with and help support organizations that come to Ecuador by providing use of our facilities for their "home base" while they are in-country for their own mission work (construction, medical, educational, etc.) While here, we transport, house, feed and in general do all we can to make their physical accomodations the best that can be found in our part of the world. We assist our visiting teams by finding and notifying them of needs which their teams are suited to fulfill, helping arrange logistics and supplies prior to their arrival and, in general, participating with them in their mission work.
People come to a saving knowledge of Christ during these mission trips; but one of our great joys is to be blessed by having the opportunity to go back into the areas that were helped by our visiting mission teams after their departure. We follow up on the relationships they have helped us build and use that relationship to share Christ. We are passionate about our evangelism work and have a real sense of urgency to get the Gospel message to people in the hard to reach areas in which our mission teams work. To date, we know of over 3,000 salvations -- and more every day since we now have indigenous pastors in the Jungle areas in which our teams work. These pastors are travelling up and down rivers of the Amazon Basin and are planting churches. Here is a hand drawn map which shows the locations of various Shuar communities along two rivers. This is the area these indigenous pastors are "working" for our Lord.

There are numerous ways you can help and partner with us. We assure you that we are very careful stewards of the provisions God gives us through our donors' generosity.
