HIV/AIDs is a problem in Ecuador in general and is particuarily a problem in our geographic work area -- the Amazon Jungle Basin.
One of our stated purposes for existence (Article 1, Section 2.1 of our ByLaws) is "The promotion of health education on prevention of HIV/AIDS/STD and Drug Abuse among the lives of the populace in targeted areas."
Global Love In Action has targeted the Amzaon Basin Area for its HIV/AIDS/STD and Drug Abuse educational and preventitive programs.
We are blessed to have Volunteers In Medical Missions as one of the organizations that has allowed us to offer support to it and they conduct numerous medical mission trips throughout the year to Ecuador and other parts of the world. You can read more about VIMM (Volunteers In Medical Missions) on their website. They are very effective in offering educational programs for HIV/AIDs/STDs and Drug Abuse.
 
There are very few effective drugs for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. Global Love In Action has been blessed by the fact that Omega Pharmaceuticals has made available to us for our use in the Amazon Jungle Basin area of Ecuador their experimental (but highly effective) drug CM4. This drug has proven highly effective in Africa in treating HIV/AIDS. It is a honor for Global Love in Action to have been blessed by permission to use it in Ecuador.
So, we have the medical team (Volunteers in Medical Missions) and we have one of the best experiemental drugs yet developed (CM4). What we need from you is a donation specifically for the purpose of helping to sponsor a trip to Ecuador by VIMM so that they can conduct HIV/AIDS education and administer the CM4 drug therapy.
