How to Donate Stock/Securities to Global Love In Action
Thank you for your interest in donating stock or securities to Global Love In Action. It is usually beneficial to give appreciated stock or securities since you bypass any capital gains tax that would otherwise be due from you if you had sold them first and then made your charitable contribution to us – and you receive a charitable deduction for their full fair market value.

Certificates Mailed To Us
Your charitable deduction will be the median market value on the date of gift. The legal gift date for certificates that are mailed is the postmark date on the envelope. For securities wired into our account, the legal gift date is the day they are received in our account.
Wire Transfer
If the securities are being held in "street name" at your brokerage firm, you may instruct your broker to have them wire transferred to us, in care of our broker. For security purposes, we ask that you fax the completed Notification of Transfer of Securities to us (see below) and then use the Contact Us form under the HOME tab of our website to request our Broker information.

Certificate Transfer
form, print it out and fax it to the number shown on the form or mail the completed form to the address shown on the form so that when your broker makes the transfer we can ensure that the securities have been received.
If you have stock certificates in your possession, you may transfer them to Global Love In Action, Inc. by completing the back of each certificate as follows:
1. Enter name(s) as they appear on the face of the certificate(s).
