These items really are unique --- for several reasons.  First, each one is handcrafted in Ecuador.  Second, the craftsmanship involved in obtaining the quality of each of these items is remarkable.  Third, and unfortunately, most of these items are made in small family shops in small Ecuadorian communities that we have discovered and the children of the craftspeople who make the particular item are moving away to larger towns because they are seeking better income opportunities -- therefore these items are truly unique and almost impossible to find anywhere else in the States.  The photos do not do justice to the quality of the items.  Our supply of each item is truly limited; only limited quantities are made available to us.  Really, these are exceptional items.

	This is the symbol of the really quality hand-crafted work of the "artesanias" in Ecuador.  The Artesanias themselves are hard to find and the products they make, be they low or high priced, are all hand-crafted.  Enjoy the below selection -- we wish it were bigger but if it were then the items wouldn't be from the true "Artesanias".
	Gold IKAT, size approximately 30" by 72".  Only one available at a time.  We have one now.  Price is $150 including S&H within lower 48 states.  Please use our Contact Us form (drop down tab off HOME page) to request detailed information about how this is made.  We'll send better photos and a lengthy description of what it takes to make one of these.  We can get them in about 7 colors.  Unfortunatley, we can't promise how long we will have access to them.  An Ecuadorian friend encouraged the family to sell to us because of the promise we made on how we would use the proceeds.  IKATs are simply beautiful.
