The lower level is truly multi-functional. Maybe you can zoom your brower as you read the below details:
All of these functions are incorporated into the lower level::
- The Worship Center is a separate building and accomodates approximately 200 people.
- The Worship Center doubles as a medical triage area or large church or community gathering area when the seating is removed.
- There is a Seminary classroom directly outside the entry doors to the Worship Center.
- The Seminary classroom triples as a prayer room and a choir area. It also serves as a storage area for the Worship Center chairs when needed.
- There are large mens and womens restrooms on the right end; accessible from the exterior.
- The remaining interior spaces ((excluding the worship center, the seminary classroom (with its other uses) and the restrooms) can be, if desired, locked off from all other interior areas.
- There is a large church office for the pastor and at least one other person.
- A large meeting room, casually furnished, for mission team meetings either prior to leaving for the mission field or after returning from the mission field. This room will receive much use.
- The dining room will seat 24 at a time, and outside areas will accomodate more seating for meals.
- The kitchen is truly remarkable for Ecuador. Fully equipped (all commercial grade equipment) to sanitize food and to prepare food sufficient for up to 100 meals at a time.
- Adequate locked pantry and freezer facilities.
- A large room opening onto the courtyard which can double as an office or small dining room.
- Three separate classrooms for children. Plans include using one of the classrooms for naptime if pre-schoolers attend.
- Three separate restrooms between the classrooms, one with a diaper changing station.
- One classroom with sink facilities.
- A one car garage for the Pastor.
- Two separate storage rooms opening to the outside -- one for maintenance equipment and one for visiting Mission Team use.
- Covered walkway with skylights -- it rains a lot in Macas -- once you are on the property you can go to any portion of the facility without being in the rain.
- The children's classroom wing can be locked off from the other areas of the facility, allowing the Pastor and Mission Teams fully separate areas in which to work.
