"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
All 501 (c) (3) organizations (read our IRS Determination Letter) need Sustaining Partners. We certainly are no exception. This page is, simply stated, a request for you to commit (for one year at a time -- until you choose to cancel your commitment) a certain amount of money to Global Love In Action to help cover our general operational costs. We have elected to classify our sustaining partners into five classifications, each classification requiring a different monetary commitment. Luke 6:38 is an excellent scriptural authority for the blessings received by the act of giving and we have named our five Sustaining Partner classifications from that verse.
Since "givers" (those who have the Spiritual Gift of Giving) give because of the leading of the Spirit and don't expect or want recognition of their gifts we humbly ask that you allow us to thank each of you by accepting from us a relatively inexpensive handcrafted Ecuadorian piece of woodwork with a Global Love In Action plate sealed into it. The cost of the gift to us is under $40 (complete including all materials and shipping) and we hope that your receipt of this small gift will not in any way compromise the "joy of giving" you receive from making the gift. Because of the sensitivity involved in rewarding any "giver" that makes a gift we have determined that the same gift will be given to all five Sustaining Partner classifications, whether you to elect to become "A good measure" Sustaining Partner or elect to become a Sustaining Partner in any of our other four classifications. From time to time our Sustaining Partners will receive special communications from us and they are all automatically subscribed to our Newsletter.
