Global Love in Action

Early in 2010 we rented a two-story building in downtown Macas and spent about three weeks doing extensive renovation to it.  It will serve as the "church" (knowing that the people are really the church) until our facilities are completed.  We are using the upper level for adult Praise and Worship and are using the lower level for children's ministries.

We began with approximately 15 worshipers in attendance and as of the end of June 2010 that number has grown to over 50.  We had a "Holy Spirit Conference" in mid-June that was led by Dr. James Lee of River of Life Ministries from Virginia Beach, VA and that Conference  has already been a stepping stone to church growth.  Dr. Lee will return to Macas.

Miller Gonzalez and his wife, Ruth, are pastors of the church.  You can read about Miller and his work on our Emeritus Pastor page.  We only call Miller an "Emeritus Pastor" because he presently has other evangelistic duties that demand some of his attention.
